(So, it's me, Kathy - again!  I'm realizing that I may have a 2nd blog to tend to...  but I don't mind mom, just send me the pictures.  I thought about trying to write this in mom's words, but I just don't think I have enough 'flowery', 'romantic' adjectives in my vocabulary, so here it is from me...)

Clint & Kathy flew in from Hawaii and Rachel drove over from Seattle for Ben's wedding.  Here is a family picture in front of the Barrett Mansion- minus the Capetillo family, Ho family, and Kyle Nohea.

A Wedding in the Family

Ben and Stacey were married on October 2, 2008.  Here is their family with Mom & Arnold:  Ben, Stacey, Kelsie (12), D'Marcos (9), and Kiana (4).

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Awai :)!!!  We love you!

A New Deck

Arnold & his hired help worked hard on this little addition to the 'Barrett Mansion'.  The front deck was completed a couple years ago, and then they added the deck in back as well as a brick pathway, brick siding on the house, and brick planters.  

Next will be the railings and then mom can go out her bedroom door onto the upstairs balcony and watch the sunset over the Yakima Valley, right, Arnold?
Their work-in-progress is slowly transforming...

A Trip to Hawaii

This is Kathy....hijacking mom's blog (somebody's gotta update her blog :)!)  Here's a little glimpse into her 2 1/2 week stay on Oahu.

All of you who know mom know that she didn't just sit with her feet up, although she did read all of the Twilight series for a 2nd time!  Our days were filled with

It was lots of fun for all of us!  We miss you, mom - don't stay away too long!!
